Election 2024 Information

This year is a presidential-election year. A number of county, municipal, and Republican Party positions in Pulaski County will be on the ballot for the 7-May Primary Election, as well as state and federal positions. The 2024 General Election will take place on Tuesday, 5 November.

Elections in Pulaski County are overseen by the Pulaski County Election Board, chaired by Jessye Gilley (D) and additionally composed of Theresa Calloway and County Clerk JoLynn Behny, who by statute serves as secretary of the Board.

The election board reminds all voters who have moved since the last election in which they voted to update their voter-registration information with the Election Board at the Clerk’s Office, temporarily located at 117 East Main Street, Winamac, across the street from the courthouse.

Voters may vote at any one of the county’s vote centers:

Voter registration closes at the Clerk’s Office at 4:00 p.m. E.D.S.T. on Monday, 8 April and online at 11:59 p.m. that night.

Early/absentee voting for the 2024 Primary Election will begin on Tuesday, 9 April, and take place

  • from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday through Friday, 3 May;
  • from 8:00 a.m. until noon on Monday, 6 May; and
  • from 8:00 a.m. until noon on Saturdays, 27 April and 4 May.

All early voting will take place at the Pulaski County Highway garage; it will also take place at the Francesville Fire Station on Saturdays, 27 April and 4 May.

Election Day (7 May) voting will take place from 6:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m.

Indiana’s primary elections are partially open, meaning that each voter is free to choose in which party’s primary to vote regardless of past primary-election voting; a voter may participate in only one party’s election in any given primary election.
